We almost had a full moon!

I took Wacky Zacky and Zany Janie to the MD so all of us could get our flu shot. It was a traumatic experience for everyone, but I will say it helped that Wacky Zacky held my hand so I didn't cry as much from getting the shot this year. Following our distressing event we met Papa Z after work to do some shopping. We found what we were looking for and were standing in a long line waiting to check out. Papa Z started asking Wacky Zacky about getting a shot and Wacky Zacky was very excited to tell him all about the band aid-which for a 2-year-old is the best part of going to the MD. Not knowing where young kids get their shots, Papa Z asked Wacky Zacky to show him his band aid. Wacky Zacky excitedly unbuttoned his pants and started pulling them down to show Papa Z the band aid on his upper thigh. Papa Z quickly caught him before he mooned the whole store!

Zany thought of the day: Why do people find it funny to "moon" someone else? I can honestly say I've never mooned someone on purpose. I think I accidentally mooned my sister when I was in the hospital after having Wacky Zacky, but I had just given birth and feel I should be given a "freebie"!

I wonder why they give it in the leg.... I always remember my shots as a kid going in the arm - wonder if it hurts less???

Brave kids. This year's shot was known for hurting much worse afterwards than previous years.
