A treaty has been reached!

The Zany family decided to return once again to Sea World to try to work out our "issues" with Elmo and his Sesame Street posse, who live at the Bay of Play. As discussed in a previous post, back in April 2008 the Zany family was taken down by those furry little creatures. To see a full description of that dreaded day click here. Since that day, the Zany family started working out and returned in July 2008 to face those fur balls! You can check out how that day went here, but let me tell you that Elmo is a slick one and his posse is there to back him up and block him from being confronted!

So three months later the Zany family returned with our own posse, baby Sydney and her parents, to try to reach some sort of agreement.

We weren't surprised when we were told by Burt and Ernie that we could not deal directly with Elmo. We had to make an appointment with the Count.

With adrenalin running high, we decided instead of all of us meeting with the Count and possibly saying something that could ruin our chances of seeing Elmo, that it was best for Zany Janie and me to meet with the Count to make the arrangements for our "big meeting with the Sesame Street Boss". Zany Janie has a calming voice and we knew she could sweet talk the Count into setting up some kind of meeting.

It was a success and a breakfast with Elmo and his friends was set up for 10:00 AM the following morning!

The breakfast went well and Zoe, Big Bird, Telly and of course Elmo all sat down to break bread and work out an agreement.

There was laughter, there was tears, there was dancing, there was cheering...It was an exhausting two day process, but I'm happy to announce that a treaty has been reached! Unfortunately we have all been sworn to secrecy or I would love to tell you the specifics of the agreement!

Zany thought of the day: What Sesame Street character are you? Unsure? Then take this fun test and find out: Sesame Street Character Test

I took the test and it says: "You are Elmo (Tickle Me!). You are cute, and everyone loves you. You are a best friend that no one takes the chance of losing. You never hurt feelings and seldom have your own feelings hurt. Life is a breeze. You are witty and calm most of the time. Just keep clean of backstabbers, and you are worry free."

Um, yeah...Describes me to a "T"! Stay away you backstabbers! :D

This story was too cute. BTW, I took the test and I am Ernie: You are Ernie. You are fun, friendly, and popular. You are a real crowd pleaser. You have probably been out on the town your share of times, yet you come home with the values that your mother taught you. Marriage and children are important to you, but only after you have fun. Don't let the people you please influence you to stray.
The only part that's wrong is the part about marriage and children after I have fun (total opposite, anyone who is married and has children knows that is always first before fun)

Looks like it was a great trip!
It also looks like I am Elmo, as well.
