Yesterday the Zany family went to the
Wild Animal Park with Papa Z's parents. Despite it being 106 degrees and suffering heat stroke we all had a good time. We were surprised to find the animals were active and moving around...Little did we know it was because extreme heat causes the smell of pheromones to be even more potent causing the male animals to strut their stuff for the females.
The main reason we braved the heat was to see the special exhibit
Dino Mountain, which ends on September 7.
Much to our dismay, Wacky Zacky and Zany Janie were terrified of the whole exhibit. Grandpa Z tried to show them how friendly the dinosaurs were by petting one of them, but he even flinched when it moved and roared. I'm guessing this experience put Wacky Zacky back 6 months before he will sleep in his dinosaur themed room!
Overall, it was a DINO-mite day!
Zany thought of the day: So if dinosaurs were still alive today do think some people would have them as pets? Nothing like having a baby T-Rex hatch at your house!

Leave it to Mama Z to have that many pictures of the primates :)
Well, certainly some of them would make good pets. Others might be perfectly good watch dinos.
That place looks like fun!
