Mr. Peepers and Family Resemblances!

 So Aunt Ju Ju has taken it a step further...Since the birth of Silly Jilly, Aunt Ju Ju has said she thought Silly Jilly looks just like a Bush Baby (See "Possibly the best call ever" post).  Here lately I have not heard any of those snarky comments.  I should have known something was up, especially when Aunt Ju Ju said she sent a package our way and we would have no question knowing which gift was for Silly Jilly.  But I didn't think anything of it and just assumed it would either be a baby toy or something she had made for Silly Jilly.  It wasn't until I opened the package and saw two giant eyes staring back at me that I knew Aunt Ju Ju had just been laying low so she could catch me off guard!  Inside was none other than:

A BUSH BABY Beanie Baby!

How she found this creature, I'll never know!  But leave it up to her to find a Bush baby toy!  And of course Silly Jilly absolutely loves it!  She has no clue it was given to her as a gag gift! 

As for my baby looking like a Bush Baby, I just don't see it...However I was a little taken aback when I downloaded some pictures from the Fourth of July and came across this gem:

Maybe my sister is onto something...There may be a Bush Baby gene on Papa Z's side of the family!

Guess which of these dogs won the World's Ugliest Dog Contest this year?

Shockingly, it's probably not who you guessed! The winner was Pabst, a 4-year-old boxer mix (The brown dog with the blue collar). I must say out of all of the dogs he is the least offensive looking one! Check out the details of this yearly contest here.

The Babykeeper?

I must say it has been a huge adjustment to live daily life with little ones, however I've never found it to be much of an issue to go into a public restroom with them. But for those of you that find it impossible, let it be an issue no longer with the Babykeeper! Will Ferrell and Bear Grylls take on the wild!

If you have never watched Man vs. Wild on the Discovery Channel you have been missing out on good television! For those of you that have watched Bear Grylls eating odd things and facing near death experiences know how crazy the show can be. That's why it was so shocking when I found out Will Ferrell decided to tag along with Bear Grylls for an adventure of a lifetime, taking on Sweden's frozen tundra. Bear wined and dined Will with none other than urine and reindeer eyeballs. I can't think of a better combination when lost in subzero weather! This episode will air the first week of June on the Discovery Channel.

Zany thought of the day: If you were lost in the wilderness with Bear Grylls would you toast with urine and eat reindeer eyeballs? I think I'd consider it if I had marshmallows to put in my cup of urine and the reindeer eyeballs were toasted on the outside and warm and gooey on the inside.
